This June will see nine intrepid Lloyd Fraser colleagues, from different Divisions across the Group, come together for three days of cycling as they attempt to to cover a gruelling ride from Whitehaven across the Lake District and the North Pennines before arriving at Tyneside. The route avoids main roads and keeps to quiet country lanes and cycle-ways but cannot avoid the hills!!!
The 150 mile ride from the west coast to the east coast of England is a classic Great British ride which covers some of England's most rugged and spectacular scenery and is being completed to raise funds for the Dorothy Goodman School for Disabled Children in Hinckley.
Taking part will be Lee Westgate and Adrian Key (Dairies),Arthur Clare-Hay (HR Divisional Director), Mike Faye (Operations Director), Stuart Holmes (Premier Foods), Debby Clayton and Donna Peasland (Mercury, Rugby), Keith Spencer (Dairies Divisional Director) and John Branscombe (Cosford warehouse). Simon Hall (Dairies) and Troy Le Roux (Premier Foods) will drive the support vehicles.
